This sequence of photos of Feast of Ashes is technically deficient due to extreme contrast in the lighting. But the sequence does show the progress of the action and,
therefore, I am including it. I apologize for the contrasty, sometimes unsharp quality.
Feast of Ashes costumes and decor were designed by Jack Venza. The fabrics were heavy and dark, the sets and lighting were minimal and stark. Chairs represented society's rigid rules which dominated the characters' lives.
